The Savoy was popular as a fleet model by taxicab companies, and the majority of their sales came from this. The Savoy as so popular in fact as a taxi, that a brand new Plymouth Taxi Special was introduced in 1960. At the end of the 1964 model year Plymouth discontinued the Savoy nameplate everywhere except Canada, where it remained until 1965.

$
2,397.00
1999 Mercury Grand Marquis Presidential edition. White with black top. (Top is starting to peel back at the front - body shop says $75-100 to reglue) Has teardrop wheels and near new tires. (Second set of wheels, low profile if you want with the car). Engine is good, a/c works. Back door on passenger side was hit and we have replaced the door. We have the trim for the door but it is not mounted on it. The door also needs the wiring hooked up to it. Right now it can be manually locked/unlocked. Windshield replaced in the last year. The front seat has a hole on the drivers side where previous owner dropped their cigarette (half dollar size). Does not have original radio, but previous owner installed AM/FM/CD player that plays very well. While we have replaced the wheels, door, and windshield, the hood and trunk lid have had some hail damage (while we have had it) and some other damage (while previous owner had it), and could be replaced if you want to do that yourself. Thanks for your interest! Ready to sell - NO RESERVE - needs a home!

Authentic Native American Indian Masks - Ottawa
Medicine Man's Child, is a carver from the Ottawa tribe of Michigan. She is half Ottawa of the Grand Traverse and Grand River Bands. Her father passed his skills on to her.
As the first people retold their life stories again and again, many of their adventures become legends. Unexplained encounters were considered the acts of mystical spirits whom they perceived as deities, healers and helpers. These spirits became a vital part of their lives, and the began to believe the spirit world guided them in all aspects of daily living and even after death.
Creative tribal artists visualized their dreams, hopes, fears, and their history, by creating masks to honor those spirits.
Some masks were used to enhance their story telling; while another purpose was to symbolize tribal laws, taboos, customs or historical events. Other masks were used in ceremonies to petition the deities for good fortune in the hunt, or for rain and good crops.
The ancestral faces she creates are from those legends of long ago when these beautiful masks were first appreciated. She hopes that each ancestral face will speak to you of that time when the unexplainable, the unknown, and the hardships of daily life could be made more acceptable through their use.
Medicine Man's Child believes that this time in history should not be lost and by creating Ancestral Faces, as revealed to her, she is retelling the stories and legends of the first inhabitants of these lands. She hopes her work will make future generations aware of the ancient cultures her asks represents as she carries on the legacy of her father and those artists of long ago.
Although factually accurate, the masks are not made or used for ceremonial purposes, but are her interpretation of a bygone art.
The hard part of the mask (not including the straw) is approximately 12 inches tall. The straw adds about another 14-16 inches when laid out.
